Francisco Sandoval, a beloved pillar of strength and warmth, passed away on August 30, 2024 at the age of 100, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience and dedication. He was a man whose life was a testament to hard work and devotion, serving as a Journeyman at U.S. Steel for many years. His contributions extended beyond his profession; he was a cornerstone of strength and love in his family.

Born on December 20, 1923, Francisco’s life was a tapestry woven with rich experiences that shaped not just his character but also the lives of those around him. He served as a steady rock for his family and a source of inspiration to his friends and colleagues. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his work and his deep, abiding love for his family.

 As a beloved husband of 75 years, he shared his journey with Maria Sandoval (nee Pimentel), a partnership built on mutual respect and an abundance of affection. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family that thrived under their care. Francisco was a loving father to Lidia (Jose) Suarez, Felipe (Elvia) Sandoval, Maria de la Luz Sandoval, Martha (the late Oscar) Polanco, Roberto (Eustolia) Sandoval, Alfredo (Virginia) Sandoval, Francisco (Angelica) Sandoval Jr., and Maria de Jesus (Jesus) Gil, instilling in them values of integrity, kindness, and hard work.

 His role as a grandfather and great-grandfather was filled with joy, offering guidance and creating lasting memories with many of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The laughter shared around family gatherings will echo in the hearts of those who knew him, a testament to a life rich in love.

 Preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Virginia Sandoval, as well as siblings Socorro, Lupe, Rafael, Jose, and Trinidad Jr., Francisco's legacy continues to flourish through his descendants. 

 Though Francisco leaves behind a void that cannot be filled, his spirit lives on through the many lives he touched. His presence will be deeply missed, yet his legacy of love and devotion will forever illuminate the lives of those he leaves behind.

 Francisco Sandoval, un querido pilar de fuerza y calidez, falleció el 30 de agosto de 2024 a la edad de 100 años, dejando atrás un legado de amor, resiliencia y dedicación. Era un hombre cuya vida era un testimonio de trabajo duro y devoción, y se desempeñó como oficial en U.S. Steel durante muchos años. Sus contribuciones se extendieron más allá de su profesión; él era una piedra angular de fortaleza y amor en su familia.

 Nacido el 20 de diciembre de 1923, la vida de Francisco fue un tapiz tejido de ricas experiencias que moldearon no sólo su carácter sino también las vidas de quienes lo rodeaban. Fue una roca firme para su familia y una fuente de inspiración para sus amigos y colegas. Será recordado por su inquebrantable dedicación a su trabajo y su profundo y duradero amor por su familia.

 Como amado esposo por 75 años, compartió su viaje con María Sandoval (de soltera Pimentel), una asociación basada en el respeto mutuo y la abundancia de afecto. Juntos formaron una hermosa familia que prosperó bajo su cuidado. Francisco fue un padre amoroso para Lidia (José) Suárez, Felipe (Elvia) Sandoval, María de la Luz Sandoval, Martha (el fallecido Oscar) Polanco, Roberto (Eustolia) Sandoval, Alfredo (Virginia) Sandoval, Francisco (Angélica) Sandoval Jr. y María de Jesús (Jesús) Gil, inculcándoles valores de integridad, bondad y trabajo duro.

 Su papel como abuelo y bisabuelo estuvo lleno de alegría, ofreciendo orientación y creando recuerdos duraderos con muchos de sus nietos y bisnietos. Las risas compartidas en las reuniones familiares resonarán en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron, testimonio de una vida rica en amor.

 Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Trinidad y Virginia Sandoval, así como sus hermanos Socorro, Lupe, Rafael, José y Trinidad Jr., el legado de Francisco continúa floreciendo a través de sus descendientes. 

 Aunque Francisco deja un vacío que no se puede llenar, su espíritu sigue vivo a través de las muchas vidas que tocó. Extrañaremos profundamente su presencia, pero su legado de amor y devoción iluminará para siempre las vidas de aquellos a quienes deja atrás.
