Age 85, late of Chicago, IL passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Flora Gomez. Loving father of Mary Lou Gomez, Roberta (Jesus) Santiago, John (Cindy) Gomez, Pete (Mary) Gomez, Thomas Gomez, Paula (Trevor) St. Germain and Flora (Troy) Mitchell. Loving companion of Alicia Lozano and her children: Jose, Juan, David and Evangelina Lozano. Proud grandfather of 14. Cherished great grandfather of many. Caring brother of Ricarda Gomez, late Castula Estivez, late Paula Gomez and Marcella Palomo. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Primitivo and Maria Gomez. Juan worked for US Steel South Works for 40 years.
