Richard Rodriguez, age 83, late of South Chicago, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022. Loving father of Yvonne R. (Siope) Vailahi, Anthony Rodriguez and Lisa Rodriguez. Caring grandfather of Mathew, Michael, Mariah, Preston, Angela, Eddie, William, Raymond, Colleen, Naticia, Ifanie, Agapito, the late Mia, Adam. Proud great grandfather of Leilani, Leia, Talai, Joel, Tatiana, Bruce, Arthur, Kimbella, Ezra and Emiliano. Kind brother of the late Rose (late Jesse and Angel) Garcia, late Joseph Rodriguez, Theresa (late David) Butler, Olivia (Lupe) Valadez, Gloria (Patrick) Bermingham, Robert (Kathleen) Rodriguez, Daniel (Amelia “Amy”) Rodriguez and Phyllis Rodriguez. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Benito and Clementina Rodriguez.

Richard proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne.
