Age 73, late of Houston, TX and formerly of Chicago, IL passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019. Beloved wife of Jose Barrera. Loving mother of Terry, Minnie (Carlos Lopez), Vicky (Gerardo Alvear), Debbie (Juan Perez) and Janie (Jay Aguilera). Caring grandmother of Marisol, Tatiana, Lucy, Jessenia, Crystal, Alex, Norma, Angel, Juan Jr., Mark, Jesus Jr. and Sara Adriana. Devoted great grandmother of Sophia, Maryah, Bella, Carlos, Ileana, Andrew, Kayla, Nonyechi, Elijah, Nyala, Amadayo, Athena, Frankie, Alana, Marky and Sara Alyssa. Cherished sister of Emily, the late Rose, Minerva (Ray) and Milton (Darlene). Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Efrain and Sarah Acosta.
